Lean into the Struggle

Today, I want to discuss struggles. This might be hard to accept, but I actually think our struggles are good for us. Read on to find out why!

Your Struggle(s)

If you are reading this, you are probably struggling with something. We all have our struggles. Some are minor struggles. Others are much more difficult to bear. But, we all struggle with something. That something can be of benefit to you.

Weight Training (Trust Me It’s Relevant)

But, wait, you say, how can something that sucks be good for me? Well, have you ever thought about lifting weights? I’m not talking about considering beginning the practice of lifting weights. I am talking about: Have you ever thought about what lifting weights actually is? You move something heavy with your body to make yourself stronger. You are putting a strain on your muscles to make them stronger. By lifting weights and using your muscles, you make yourself stronger.

Embrace the Struggle

When you are struggling with something, lean into it. Embrace your struggles. This will make you stronger. Instead of running from your problems, face them directly. This concept is like weight lifting for your mental capacity. It is a way to make yourself mentally stronger. In short, it helps you be able to endure difficult things in life. Weight training is all about making yourself stronger, so you can lift heavier and heavier things. So, too, can embracing your struggles help you better able to handle what the world throws at you.

My Final Thought

What are you struggling with right now? I cannot possibly begin to imagine what that is like for you. I can’t. The only way I could understand it is if I were you. I can’t be you, though. I can only be me. However, I know from my past struggles and trials that I am stronger because of those past struggles and trials. So, whatever you are going through right now, don’t run away from it. Embrace it. It is making you stronger.
