Resetting My Idea Generator
I have been struggling lately to come up with ideas for resets I can write about for this blog series. Last week’s post came about because it was the only thing I could think of (other than this post). I need a new way of generating ideas for this blog.
It’s time for a RESET!
The Issue
Writer’s block is a real thing, and it sucks. I am struggling to make this blog valuable. I want plenty of creative ideas to put in this blog, and that is not happening.
My Why
I do not want to half-@$$ this blog. I want it to be great, and I don’t want it to be a grind. I need a new way to come up with ideas.
Who I Want to Be
I want to be creative and someone who can clearly explain what it means to hit the reset button and start again from a place of strength. This is how I am showing the world I know what I am talking about when I talk about resetting ADHD. I want to put my best foot forward when attracting new clients.
Strengths-Based Strategies
I am creative. I can come up with ideas; I just need to give myself permission to do so. Brainstorming strategies would help. Rather than hoping ideas come to me, and kicking myself when they don’t. I need to relax and let the ideas come to me. I need to relax my control over coming up with ideas.
Last week’s blog post was something I did not want to write about. However, I had the thought: If you don’t want to write about it, maybe it is something you should write about. Perhaps, those things I would be embarrassed to say I am struggling with are the same things that others are struggling with and are embarrassed about it. So, there is an idea. I could think about what I don’t want to write about and write about that.
