The First Step to Getting Your ADHD Under Control

Managing your ADHD is a daunting task. There is a lot to consider and many things to be done. It can be overwhelming to think about. So, how does one start? Where does one start? It is not easy, but read on for my one key tip to getting ADHD under control.

Small Wins

The first thing you can do to get your ADHD under control is to get some small wins. Identify those things in your life where you can make an immediate change and create some small wins. These do not have to be giant things. They can be as simple as taking the garbage out. Getting yourself to do these small things will help build momentum.

Build Momentum

Once you start getting some small wins, you can do more and more. These small wins will rebuild your confidence and give you the courage to tackle larger projects. From there, you can take on anything.

The Benefit of Coaching

Sometimes, it can be hard to identify small wins and build momentum on your own. The good news is you do not have to do it alone. You can have a support team. One member of that team might be a coach. Coaching has many benefits. One of them is having someone on your team to help you identify those areas where you can get small wins.
