Better Sleep Is Possible
Those of us with ADHD can struggle with sleep. ADHDers struggle with falling asleep, staying asleep, getting out of bed in the morning, and daytime sleepiness. ADHD can make sleep worse, and sleep can make ADHD worse. It’s a vicious cycle. However, it is possible to get a good night’s sleep.
My Story
I know it is possible to get better sleep because I have turned my sleep around. I used to struggle with sleep. Now, I have a handle on my sleep. Learn more by reading about my sleep story.
Attitude
Yes, it is possible to get a good night’s sleep. However, it is only possible if you believe it is possible. If you do not think you can get a good night’s sleep, it won’t happen. A negative sleep attitude creates a self-fulfilling prophecy. So, I encourage you to shift your mindset and believe you can get a good night’s sleep. Again, I know it is possible to turn your sleep story around because I have done it.
How?
Okay, so you have shifted your mindset, and you now believe a better night’s sleep is possible. What do you do? I recommend finding some support. You can read the blog posts on sleep on this website, or you can take advantage of two of Reset ADHD’s new offerings.
First, Reset ADHD has launched a course on sleep and ADHD. This is replacing the YouTube series I did on ADHD and sleep. I have deleted those videos, and I will now be encouraging others to sign up for my course.
If you are not ready to commit to a full course on sleep at this time, perhaps where you can find benefit is Reset ADHD’s Super Sleepers Community. This is an online community for which you can sign up and take part in conversations with others who are looking to improve their sleep. I hope to build a positive, supportive community, so I encourage you to sign up.
As always, if you feel like you need more specialized support, you can consider coaching with Reset ADHD. Sign up for a Free Reset Session to learn more.
