7 Reasons to Get a Coach
Curious about coaching? What sort of questions do you have about coaching? Do any of the following questions match the questions you have?
When should a person seek out a coach? What types of people get a coach? Why should you get a coach?
To answer some of these questions, I have complied a list of reasons to get a coach.
1.) You Have ADHD…or Don’t
I am a coach who specializes in ADHD. That does not mean I can only see ADHD clients. Sure, my ideal client has ADHD, but I will not turn you away if you do not have ADHD.
2.) You Are Stuck
Many of those with ADHD are incredibly smart, but the challenges of ADHD hold them back. If that sounds like you, coaching might be right for you.
3.) You Want a Coach
Coaching is client-driven. You have to want to be coached for coaching to work. It takes self-awareness and a commitment to make positive changes in your life.
4.) You Want More out of Life
Is life good but not great? Do you feel like you are not reaching your potential? Is there a feeling that you should be getting more out of life? Coaching might be an answer.
5.) Your Production Does Not Match Your Efforts
Those of us with ADHD can often find ourselves working extraordinarily hard to just achieve mediocre results. If you feel your talent and efforts are not producing the results you know you can achieve, coaching might be right for you.
6.) Adulting Seems Harder Than It Should Be
Adulting sucks, and it sucks even more when you have ADHD. Those things every other adult seems to do with ease are strangely hard for those of us with ADHD. Coaching can help you come up with strategies to better attack the demands of adulting.
7.) Life Seems Unbalanced
Are certain things causing a lack of balance in your life? Is work dominating your time? Do you spend so much time cleaning that you don’t have time to cook your meals? Are your friends or family upset with how little time you spend with them? Coaching can help you get closer to achieving a proper balance in your life.
